SASUKE 3 (1999) Part 2

Part Two of the third SASUKE. We'll see how the others fare.

#49: Matsumoto Minoru. A construction worker. He's getting ready to start. Up the Maruta Nobori. Rolling Maruta. Yes. He easily dismounts. He strides across the Yureru Hashi. Down the Maruta Kudari, and up the Sosoritatsu Kabe. He's flying up this. Now for the Tarzan Jump. He clears. Rope Climb. Yes! He hit's the button and he clears. Matsumoto Minoru. Stage 1 Clear!

#54: Yamamoto Tatsuya. The carpenter. He made it to the Third Stage last time. Today he leaps high up the Maruta Nobori. The Rolling Maruta. He rolls, and rolls, and clears. This course is rearranged. He clears the Yureru Hashi, Maruta Kudari, and Sosoritatsu Kabe. He jumps down the Tarzan Jump and climbs the Rope Climb. He clears easy. Yamamoto Tatsuya. Stage 1 Clear!

#69: Oooh. We've got a triple jumper. Morita Junpei. He should jump easy through the course. Up the Maruta Nobori in a huge jump. He rolls easily down the Rolling Maruta. Why do I get the feeling that he's gonna fly through the course easily. He jumps high on the Yureru Hashi. A huge leap down the Maruta Kudari. He runs fast up the Sosoritatsu Kabe, and he leaps VERY high as he swings down the Tarzan Jump, and he climbs up the Rope Climb, and YES! Morita Junpei. Stage 1 Clear!

#81: The winner of the Quick Muscle national championship. Ito Tadao. He's good at push ups. He leaps up the Maruta Nobori and rolls down the Rolling Maruta. He runs easily across the pesky Yureru Hashi. Now he jumps down the Maruta Kudari. He faces the Sosoritatsu Kabe. He clears. He jumps down the Tarzan Jump, and climbs up the Rope Climb. He clears. Tadao Ito. Stage 1 Clear!

#82: The Great Sasuke. Murakawa Masanon. He leaps up the Maruta Nobori. Now for the Rolling Maruta. He clears. Now for the Yureru Hashi. He beats it. Now we're on the Maruta Kudari. He beats it. Now he runs up the Sosoritatsu Kabe. No! He tries again, and no! He's running out of time! He goes up again, and no! Murakawa Masanon. Death by Sosoritatsu Kabe. That was ironic.

#83: Miura Aiichi. The construction worker. He almost made it. If only he timed the jump better. Up the Maruta Nobori and WTF!!! Why? Miura Aiichi. Death by Maruta Nobori.

#84: Tanaka Hikaru. The gymnast who made it to the Final Stage in the last SASUKE. Here he goes. Up the Maruta Nobori like last time. Now for the Rolling Maruta, and oh! He lost it. Tanaka Hikaru. Death by Rolling Maruta.

#89: Yamada Katsumi. The propane tank delivery worker. Maruta Nobori. Clears it easily. Now for the Rolling Maruta. Yes! Yureru Hashi Yes! He beats that, and now for the Maruta Kudari, and Sosoritatsu Kabe. He clears both easily. Now he faces the Tarzan Jump which he beats. He beats the Ropr Climb, and yes! Yamada Katsumi. Stage 1 Clear!

#91: Hanyuda Tadakatsu. Maruta Nobori. Yes! Rolling Maruta. No! not quite. Hanyuda Tadakatsu. Death by Rolling Maruta.

#93: Tanabe Chie. A stuntwoman. Death by Rolling Maruta.

#97: Yoshizaki Hiroaki. He moves fast through the first five obstacles. Rope Climb. No! Time Up. Yoshizaki Hiroaki. Death by Rope Climb.

#98: Kujirai Yasutoshi. He flies up the Maruta Nobori. He easily traverses the Rolling Maruta. Yureru Hashi. No Problem. Maruta Kudari. Easy. Sosoritatsu Kabe. Yes! Oh. Go ahead and celebrate. He jumps high on the Tarzan Jump, and powers up the Rope Climb. Yes. Kujirai Yasutoshi. Stage 1 Clear!

#99: Akiyama Kazuhiko. The former crab trapper of Hokkaido. Maruta Nobori, Rolling Maruta, and Yureru Hashi. Yes! He... whoa. Close one. Down the Maruta Kudari, and up the Sosoritatsu Kabe. He goes for the Tarzan Jump, and Rope Climb, and oh pose for the camera won't you. Akiyama Kazuhiko. Stage 1 Clear!

#100: Omori Akira, or Monkikki. Fung. He dyed his hair pink. Up the Maruta Nobori easily. He knows that he's going for this chance. Rolling Maruta. Barely. Yureru Hashi, Maruta Kudari, and Sosoritatsu Kabe. Yes. Tarzan Jump, and Rope Climb. Yes. Omori Akira. Stage 1 Clear!

Stage 1 ends, and 13 have cleared. That damn Rolling Maruta just eliminated 41 people it says.

SASUKE 3 (1999) Part 1

This is the third SASUKE. It has gone through major modifications since the last tournament. Here's what lies in the First Stage.

We start with Hatsuta Keisuke as announcer.

#1: Kunuki Taro. A JSDF soldier. Up the Maruta Nobori. Now for the new Rolling Maruta. Okay. The function here is to hang on to a log, and push it to make it roll down the track. He goes. This makes me dizzy just watching. He's through, and onto the Yureru Hashi... OUCH! You heard that crash, but he made it. He jumps down the Maruta Kudari, and clears. Onto the Sosoritatsu Kabe. He hangs on, and beaten back. With less than ten seconds remaining he climbs, and clears. Onto the new Tarzan Jump. You must swing on a rope, and then climb up the rope on a wall. Time's Up. He swung, and failed. Kunuki Taro. Death by Tarzan Jump.


#5: Paul Quark. An english teacher. He's jumping up the Maruta Nobori. He's through. Easy does it. Onto the Rolling Maruta, and rolling, rolling. NO! Not quite. Paul Quark. Death by Rolling Maruta.

#10: Ninja man from Edo. Hasegawa Ken. He's up the Maruta Nobori. Down the Rolling Maruta, and he's through that. Onto the Yureru Hashi. Yes. He leaps down the Maruta Kudari, and he's up the Sosoritatsu Kabe. Now for the Tarzan Jump, and Rope Climb. He's climbing, and yes! Hasegawa Ken. Stage 1 Clear!

#13: Yamamoto Shingo. He reached the Third Stage last time. He was PWNED by the Pipe Slider. Maruta Nobori. Yes. Rolling Maruta. Yes. Yureru Hashi. Yes in three easy steps. Down the Maruta Kudari, and up the Sosoritatsu Kabe. Now for the Tarzan Jump, and yes! Up the Rope Climb, and Yes! He clears with tons of time. Yamamoto Shingo. Stage 1 Clear!

#17: Tatayama Masaki. He's a stuntman. He's up the Maruta Nobori. Down the Rolling Maruta. Across the Yureru Hashi, and down the Maruta Kudari. Up the Sosoritatsu Kabe. No for the Tarzan Jump, and Rope Climb. He makes it... hit the damn button! There we go. Tatayama Masaki. Stage 1 Clear!

#19: Ayakura Waka. She's hot! Onto the Maruta Nobori. Going slowly on the Rolling Maruta, and now for the Yureru Hashi. No. She spaced out, and failed, but oh well. Ayakura Waka. Death by Yureru Hashi.

#28: Now up is Shane Kosugi. He's from the Kosugi Martial Arts Institute. He starts, and clears the Maruta Nobori with a giant leap. Onto the Rolling Maruta, and no! It got him. Shane Kosugi. Death by Rolling Maruta.

#34: Asaoka Hiroyuki. A Chigasaki elementary school teacher. He jumps and clears the Maruta Nobori. He rolls easily down the deadly Rolling Maruta. He easily beats the Yureru Hashi. He makes the big leap down the Maruta Kudari, and clears. He's up the Sosoritatsu Kabe. He swings on the Tarzan Jump, and climbs up the Rope Climb. Clear! Asaoka Hiroyuki. Stage 1 Clear!

#39: Sakamoto Takashi. A stuntman. He goes, and Ahhhh. He's down. That did not last long. Sakamoto Takashi. Death by Maruta Nobori.

#42: Tatsukawa Tomihiro. Superman's become an insurance salesman. Up the Maruta Nobori in a single leap. Onto the Rolling Maruta, and No! Failure! Tatsukawa Tomihiro. Death by Rolling Maruta.

#47: Koya Tadashi. A former soccer player. Maruta Nobori. Yes! Rolling Maruta. Yes! Yureru Hashi and Maruta Kudari. Yes! Sosoritatsu Kabe. Yes! Tarzan Jump, and Rope Climb. Yes! He clears. Koya Tadashi. Stage 1 Clear!

SASUKE 2 (1998) Part 4

Onto the Third Stage where arm strength is the key.

Okay here are the obstacles.

#20: Yamamoto Shingo is up first. The gas jockey. Onto the Pole Bridge. He's walking slowly but surely, and still careful he makes it. Onto the Propeller Untei. He's grasped the first propeller, and onto number two, and three. Yes! Onto the Hang Move. He has to cross six swinging chains. One chain, two, three, four, five, six, and YES! He does it. Onto the deadly new Pipe Slider. He slides slowly across the first track and Yes! Onto the second track. He can smell the Final Stage. Halfway and NO! He slipped, guess he was just tired. Yamamoto Shingo. Death by Pipe Slider.

#30: Miura Aiichi. The steeplejack. Onto the Pole Bridge, and YES! Taking careful steps to clearing the Third Stage. Onto the Propeller Untei. He's across. Onto the Hang Move and yes. Pipe Slider. sliding, and sliding, and Yes! Onto track number two, and yes yes yes yes. He touches, and NO! WTF! He freaked up. He landed down, but lost his balance and fell. Miura Aiichi. Death by Pipe Slider.

#42: Yamamoto Tatsuya. A carpenter. He finished Stage 2 with barely any time at all. Onto the Pole Bridge and Yay! Propeller Untei. Yes! Hang Move. Yes!. Pipe Slider. Down one track, and WTF! He fell at the end of the first track, damn. Yamamoto Tatsuya. Death by Pipe Slider.

#65: Hasegawa Ken. The Edo wonderland ninja. Pole Bridge. Yes! Propeller Untei, and Hang Move. Yes! Pipe Slider. No! Hasegawa Ken. Death by Pipe Slider.

#70: Ebihara Masakazu. The trucker. He's across the Pole Bridge. Propeller Untei. Yes! Hang Move. Yes. Pipe Slider. WTF! Bad Ebihara. Bad! BAD! Why would you take the pipe off the tracks. Ebihara Masakazu. Death by Disqualification on Pipe Slider.

#83: Yoshizaki Hiroaki. Pole Bridge, Propeller Untei, Hang Move. Yes! Pipe Slider. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! He failed and he tore his outfit. That was painful. Yoshizaki Hiroaki. Death by Pipe Slider.

#95: Nakamura Shigeyuki. Talent man. He gracefully walks across the Pole Bridge. He's across the Propeller Untei. To the Hang Move, and Pipe Slider. No! He fell just before the finish. He must be heartbroken. Nakamura Shigeyuki. Death by Pipe Slider.

#97: Tanaka Hikaru. The gymnast. Pole Bridge. Propeller Untei. Yes! and Yes! Hang Move Yes! Pipe Slider. YES!!!!!!!!!! He did it. Tanaka Hikaru. Stage 3 Clear!

#99: Omori Akira. The monkikki dude. Onto the Pole bridge, and Yes! Propeller Untei. Just don't creme your head like last time. Yes! Hang Move. Yes! Pipe Slider. Yes! He just gently youches down. Omori Akira. Stage 3 Clear!

Okay that was a tough Third Stage. Only 2 out of 9 cleared.

Final Stage is next.

Tsuna Nobori 綱登り (15m)

#97: Tanaka Hikaru. The gymnast. He starts, and he's going up high, and making good time. Yay! Halfway. Uh-Oh. He's going slower, and No! Tanaka Hikaru. Death by Tsuna Nobori.

#99: Omori Akira. He starts, and up, up, up, up, up, up. Okay now he's struggling. Climbing and ten seconds left, and No! Times up! Omori Akira. Death by Tsuna Nobori.

End of SASUKE 2. More will come. I know it.

SASUKE 2 (1998) Part 3

Okay. Were on Stage 2 with 34 challengers having cleared. I hope alot clear.

Still on the strong voiced Furutachi Ichiro.

Okay were starting.

#2: Ueda Takuyu a rock climber and an internet service provider. Up the Spider Walk slowly, and across the Ugokukabe, now onto the Spider Climb. He's through the Spider Walk, and onto the Goren Hammer and with ten seconds left onto the Gyakuso Conveyor, and the theme song...err klaxon sounds and one wall, two walls and time's up! Ueda Takuyu. Death by Wall Lifting Run.

#3: Suzuki Yuji. A trucker. He climbs up the Spider Walk, and across the Ugokukabe. He's struggling and just a few inches left, and he's down. He was so close. He just had to reach for the pole, and boom failure. Suzuki Yuji. Death by Spider Climb.

Digest Time.

#11: Sakamoto Takashi. A stuntman. Death by Spider Climb.

#20: Yamamoto Shingo. The gas jockey. He's the pepped dude. Onto the Spider Walk, and Ugokukabe. He's going fast and into the Spider Climb, and quickly down the fireman's pole. Now onto the terrifying Goren Hammer that felled him last time, and he clears. On to the Gyakuso Conveyor. He' going fast. One wall, two walls, and three walls and he rolls to the finish and clears. Yamamoto Shingo. Stage 2 Clear!

#30: Miura Aiichi. The steeplejack. Up the Spider Walk, and onto the Ugokukabe. He's quick into the Spider Climb. Onto the Goren Hammer and he clears. Onto the Gyakuso Conveyor, and clear of that as well. Onto the walls. One wall. Two walls. Three Walls. Yes!. Miura Aiichi. Stage 2 Clear!

#39: Tanagawa Yoshihide. Singer. Ouch. Stomach ache. Death by Wall Lifting Run.

#41: Tanabe Chie. The stuntwoman. Onto the Spider Walk, and oh no! She can't quite seem to get the right position. Struggling, and Damn! What a frusterating end for Tanabe Chie. Tanaba Chie. Death by Spider Walk.

#43: Yamamoto Yoshihito. A trucker. He's moving easily, and through the Spider Walls and onto the Goren Hammer and OMG! He fell! Yamamoto Yoshihito. Death by Goren Hammer.

#65: Hasegawa Ken. Acting Ninja at Edo Wonderland. He' up the Spider Walk, and now across the Ugokukabe, and Spider Climb. Onto the Goren Hammer. He hops and clears, and onto the Gyakuso Conveyor. Which he also clears. One wall. Two walls. Three walls, and he clears. Hasegawa Ken. Stage 2 Clear!

#70: Another trucker. Ebihara Masakazu. On the Spider Wall. Goren Hammer. Yes. He's fast. Onto the Gyakuso Conveyor, and he's clear. Yes. One wall, two walls, three walls, and yes! Ebihara Masakazu. Stage 2 Clear!

#83: Yoshizaki Hiroaki. The brains and brawn dude. Onto the Spider Walk and Whoa. That was close. He's through the Ugokukabe, and up the Spider Climb. Geez. I'm still a little shaken about his early recovery. Onto the Goren Hammer, and the Gyasuko Conveyor. He clears. One wall, two walls, three walls. He... clears. Yoshizaki Hiroaki. Stage 2 Clear!

SASUKE 2 (1998) Part 2

Part 2 of the Second SASUKE and the first one to take place outdoors.

#37: A wrestler? Hosikawa Naohiro. Up the Maruta Nobori easily. He stands up, and cool WRESTLING POWER!!!. Anyway past the Burasagari Maruta with a powerful slide. Down the Maruta Kudari and Yes... No WTF! That was painful. Right on his back! Hosikawa Naohiro. Death by Maruta Kudari.

#41: Tanabe Chie. A professional stuntwoman. Up the Maruta Nobori, and across the Burasagari Maruta. Time to jump down the Maruta Kudari, and Yes! with a somersault. Up the Sosoritatsu Kabe, and across the Yureru Hashi in three steps, now up the Free Climbing. Don't give up now! Finally on the Kabe Nobori, and yes, but barely. The first ever woman to complete the First Stage. Tanabe Chie. Stage 1 Clear!

#50: Tatsukawa Tomihiro. Insurance Salesman. I remember him from last time. Up the Maruta Nobori and Agggghhhh! He almost had it. Damn! Tatsukawa Tomihiro. Death by Maruta Nobori.

#63: This is the JSDF Soldier. Iijima Toyohisa the Bruce Lee look-alike. He goes and Oh my god! Man! He slipped. Yeah. We get it you tried. Iijima Toyohisa. Death by Maruta Nobori.

#65: Hasegawa Ken. The theme park Ninja. Stage 1 Clear!

#70: Ebihara Masakazu. A trucker who is from Sagawa. He's up the Maruta Nobori easy, and across the Burasagari Maruta, now down the Maruta Kudari, now up the Sosoritatsu Kabe and across the Yureru Hashi, and up the Free Climbing, and Kabe Nobori. Yay! Ebihara Masakazu. Stage 1 Clear!

#77: Miyashita Yoshiyuki. A Telecommunication Installer. Death by Burasagari Maruta.

#78: Hasebe Ayaka. 1st at a 1996 100m relay. Death by Maruta Nobori.

#79: Ito Yutaro. An Office Worker. Death by Maruta Nobori.

#81: Yan Yang. A Chinese acrobat. She starts and awww. She tried, and that was painful. Yan Yang. Death by Maruta Nobori.

#82: James Roland Green. Another Naval Base worker. He's up the Maruta Nobori. Across the Burasagari Maruta, and down the Maruta Kudari. Going for the Sosoritatsu Kabe, and yes! Now the Yureru Hashi, and No! he missed! James Roland Green. Death by Yureru Hashi.

#83: Yoshizaki Hiroaki. A biology grad student, and a gymnast. He should do fine. Up the Maruta Nobori, and he just simply walks across the Burasagari Maruta, and he's down the Maruta Kudari, and whoa! He sticks the landing. He's just running up the Sosoritatsu Kabe, and across the Yureru Hashi, and up the Free Climbing and Kabe Nobori. Wow he's fast, and he clears with like 19 seconds left. Yoshizaki Hiroaki. Stage 1 Clear!

#99: Omori Akira. The Monkey. He was one of four who made it to the finals. Up the Maruta Nobori and across the Burasagari Maruta. This time he sticks the Maruta Kudari landing. Up the Sosoritatsu Kabe, and across the deadly Yureru Hashi. Up the Free Climbing and Kabe Nobori, and he's clear in like less than 40 seconds. Omori Akira. Stage 1 Clear!

Digest. Why would we digest if there's only one left? Ah well.

#100: Akiyama Kazuhiko. Former Crab Fisherman from Hokkiado. Stage 1 Clear!

Now 34 will take on Stage 2. More than last time, so were pretty good.

SASUKE 2 (1998) Part 1

Alright! The second SASUKE. The first one marked the start of this series. Despite how many people tried not one could achieve Kanzenseiha. Wow the competition has been brought to a place called Mt. Midoriyama. The obstacles remain hard.

#1: Atarashii Ichiro is a Fitness Instructor. He's starting on the Maruta Nobori, and No! Yeah I feel your pain man, splash that water! Atarashii Ichiro. Death by Maruta Nobori.

#2: Ueda Takuyu. This guy is a rock climber. He's up the Maruta Nobori, and onto the Burasagari Maruta, and he's clear. Maruta Kudari is good. Up the Sosoritatsu Kabe, and across the Yureru Hashi in three easy steps. Onto the Free Climbing and Kabe Nobori. He's fast and he has cleared. Ueda Takuyu. Stage 1 Clear!

#4: No three? Anyway Udagawa Shuji, a salesman who's about to... No need to keep going. Udagawa Shuji. Death by Maruta Nobori.

#6: Fukushima Ryosuke. A four year rugby champion. Death by Maruta Nobori

#7: Otsuka Takayuki. a construction worker. Death by Maruta Nobori

#10: Okay next up is Uemura Tetsuji. A JSDF Soldier. He's fast, and up the Maruta Nobori, then the Burasa... WTF! He hung on. Anyway, he clears the Burasagari Maruta, and he jumps and No! Too Short! Uemura Tetsuji. Death by Maruta Kudari.

#14: Mihara Ryuichi. An office worker. Death by Kabe Nobori.

#21: Ito Kentaro a gas worker. Well that didn't last long. Ito Kentaro. Death by Maruta Nobori.

#24: An engineer. Kyoto Taikichiro. Death by Maruta Nobori.

#28: Komiya Ayano. She's a sophomore, and she starts and Death by Maruta Nobori.

SASUKE 1 (1997) Part 5

The Second Stage has wrapped up with six competitors having cleared. Now that Stage 2 is over, let's see what the Third Stage holds for them. There's no time limit in this stage. More of a lazy stage.

It may not be much, but it may be fierce. I think this is going good.

#18: Yamamoto Yoshihito. The truck driver that cleared the Second Stage with the fastest time. On the Pole Bridge. Or as I call it the rounded Sponge Bridge from Kinniku Banzuke. Okay shaky. Shaky, and ahhh! He toppled off the side. Yeah I'm disappointed for you too. Yamamoto Yoshihito. Death by Pole Bridge.

#49: The acrobat Kawashima Takayuki. Sixth in the 1995 acrobatics championship. Across the Pole Bridge with ease, and WTF he jumped up to the next platform. What's this. Propellers. Ahhh. The Propeller Untei. Thanks Scnoi. Anyway He's past that. What's this now. Bamboo Chutes. Are they supposed to walk on these? No. They're supposed to cross these like poles vaults, the Hariyama. Yeah. He's through calmly. Kawashima Takayuki. Stage 3 Clear!

#72: Yo Takashi. The Kung Fu Sensei who was barely able to squeak by Stage 2 with about 0.1 seconds. He's across the Pole Bridge. Onto the Propeller Untei. He's clear of that, after a few struggles. He's across the Hariyama, and more, and he's... clear. YES! Yo Takashi. Stage 3 Clear!

#89: Geinojin Sportsman Champion. Kane Kosugi of Sho Kosugi martial arts. He's going easily, and WTF. Don't you dare lose it! No you won't! Aggghhh he fell! He was so close! He was just about to clear! Kane Kosugi. Death by Pole Bridge.

#96: Hasegawa Ken. He plays a ninja at a popular theme park at Edo Wonderland. He also squeaked by Stage 2.  He's crossing the Poles, and Propellers and he clears both. He's on the Hariyama and he clears that. Hasegawa Ken. Stage 3 Clear!

#97: Ooo. It's Omori Akira. AKA. Monkikki, or the Monkey, or Osaru. He's across the Pole Bridge. Onto the Pro... ouch he hit his head. No harm, no trauma, he's okay. Anyway where was I, oh yeah. Onto the Propeller Untei, and he's back to the start, and again, and this time he clears. Onto the Hariyama and he's hanging and across and he's... clear. Omori Akira. Stage 3 Clear!

4 out of 6 clear Stage 3 and will face the Final Stage. It's pretty high. About 50ft I presume. Ah haha. Furutachi is asking the reporter why she's so scared. It's obvious, Vertigo.

The finals are gonna begin, wow it's dwarfing all of the challengers.

Tsuna Nobori 綱登り (15m)

15 meters is high, anyway let's get crackin' 30 seconds to climb.

#49: Kawashima Takayuki the acrobat. He's about to start. He's climbing, and he's climbing. Wow! he's fast, he may beat this. About a third, and climbing. C'mon. Uh-oh. He's losing steam, and the warning bell rings as he's almost at the top, and three... two... one... Time's Up!. Ahhh man. He just had to climb a little faster and he would've had it! Kawashima Takayuki. Death by Tsuna Nobori.

#72: I see Yo Takashi the Kung Fu Sensei. He's gonna go for it and we'll see if he'll ultimately dominate. He starts and is already struggling, you're freaked man. The bell's ringing and you're not even half-way up. Time's Up and no Kanzenseiha for you. Yo Takashi. Death by Tsuna Nobori

#96: Hasegawa Ken. First a sensei, and now a ninja, okay Hasegawa is ready, and he starts his 30 second climb to purgatory. He's struggling. He's still struggling hard. Now he's probably gonna fai...yeah I couldn't even finish. Hasegawa Ken. Death by Tsuna Nobori.

#97: Omori Akira. The monkey is next. Now he will attempt to climb what Hasegawa couldn't climb. Well same with Kawashima and Yo, but you get the picture. He's strapped up and he's going as he's...WTF. He's flailing hard. C'mon you can do it. Let's see if he can reach the top without trouble. Oh No he's down to ten seconds, C'mon keep going. Not One Step Back...or...Down. OMG! He failed. No more to go. Omori Akira. Death by Tsuna Nobori.

Well that ends it. 100 challengers went to tackle the course, and all failed. More will come back, and hopefully clear.
