#30: Miura Aiichi. The steeplejack. Onto the Pole Bridge, and YES! Taking careful steps to clearing the Third Stage. Onto the Propeller Untei. He's across. Onto the Hang Move and yes. Pipe Slider. sliding, and sliding, and Yes! Onto track number two, and yes yes yes yes. He touches, and NO! WTF! He freaked up. He landed down, but lost his balance and fell. Miura Aiichi. Okay that was a tough Third Stage. Only 2 out of 9 cleared.

Okay. Were on Stage 2 with 34 challengers having cleared. I hope alot clear.

He's through the Spider Walk, and onto the Goren Hammer and with ten seconds left onto the Gyakuso Conveyor, and the theme song...err klaxon sounds and one wall, two walls and time's up! Ueda Takuyu. #3: Suzuki Yuji. A trucker. He climbs up the Spider Walk, and across the Ugokukabe. He's struggling and just a few inches left, and he's down. He was so close. He just had to reach for the pole, and boom failure. Suzuki Yuji. Death by Spider Climb.

SASUKE 2 (1998) Part 2
Part 2 of the Second SASUKE and the first one to take place outdoors.
#37: A wrestler? Hosikawa Naohiro. Up the Maruta Nobori easily. He stands up, and cool WRESTLING POWER!!!. Anyway past the Burasagari Maruta with a powerful slide. Down the Maruta Kudari and Yes... No WTF! That was painful. Right on his back! Hosikawa Naohiro. Death by Maruta Kudari.
#41: Tanabe Chie. A professional stuntwoman. Up the Maruta Nobori, and across the Burasagari Maruta. Time to jump down the Maruta Kudari, and Yes! with a somersault. Up the Sosoritatsu Kabe, and across the Yureru Hashi in three steps, now up the Free Climbing. Don't give up now! Finally on the Kabe Nobori, and yes, but barely. The first ever woman to complete the First Stage. Tanabe Chie. Stage 1 Clear!

Alright! The second SASUKE. The first one marked the start of this series. Despite how many people tried not one could achieve Kanzenseiha. Wow the competition has been brought to a place called Mt. Midoriyama. The obstacles remain hard.

SASUKE 1 (1997) Part 5
The Second Stage has wrapped up with six competitors having cleared. Now that Stage 2 is over, let's see what the Third Stage holds for them. There's no time limit in this stage. More of a lazy stage.

#18: Yamamoto Yoshihito. The truck driver that cleared the Second Stage with the fastest time. On the Pole Bridge. Or as I call it the rounded Sponge Bridge from Kinniku Banzuke. Okay shaky. Shaky, and ahhh! He toppled off the side. Yeah I'm disappointed for you too. Yamamoto Yoshihito. Death by Pole Bridge.
#49: The acrobat Kawashima Takayuki. Sixth in the 1995 acrobatics championship. Across the Pole Bridge with ease, and WTF he jumped up to the next platform. What's this. Propellers. Ahhh. The Propeller Untei. Thanks Scnoi. Anyway He's past that. What's this now. Bamboo Chutes. Are they supposed to walk on these? No. They're supposed to cross these like poles vaults, the Hariyama. Yeah. He's through calmly. Kawashima Takayuki. Stage 3 Clear!

#89: Geinojin Sportsman Champion. Kane Kosugi of Sho Kosugi martial arts. He's going easily, and WTF. Don't you dare lose it! No you won't! Aggghhh he fell! He was so close! He was just about to clear! Kane Kosugi. Death by Pole Bridge.
#96: Hasegawa Ken. He plays a ninja at a popular theme park at Edo Wonderland. He also squeaked by Stage 2. He's crossing the Poles, and Propellers and he clears both. He's on the Hariyama and he clears that. Hasegawa Ken. Stage 3 Clear!
#97: Ooo. It's Omori Akira. AKA. Monkikki, or the Monkey, or Osaru. He's across the Pole Bridge. Onto the Pro... ouch he hit his head. No harm, no trauma, he's okay. Anyway where was I, oh yeah. Onto the Propeller Untei, and he's back to the start, and again, and this time he clears. Onto the Hariyama and he's hanging and across and he's... clear. Omori Akira. Stage 3 Clear!
4 out of 6 clear Stage 3 and will face the Final Stage. It's pretty high. About 50ft I presume. Ah haha. Furutachi is asking the reporter why she's so scared. It's obvious, Vertigo.
The finals are gonna begin, wow it's dwarfing all of the challengers.

#96: Hasegawa Ken. First a sensei, and now a ninja, okay Hasegawa is ready, and he starts his 30 second climb to purgatory. He's struggling. He's still struggling hard. Now he's probably gonna fai...yeah I couldn't even finish. Hasegawa Ken. Death by Tsuna Nobori.
#97: Omori Akira. The monkey is next. Now he will attempt to climb what Hasegawa couldn't climb. Well same with Kawashima and Yo, but you get the picture. He's strapped up and he's going as he's...WTF. He's flailing hard. C'mon you can do it. Let's see if he can reach the top without trouble. Oh No he's down to ten seconds, C'mon keep going. Not One Step Back...or...Down. OMG! He failed. No more to go. Omori Akira. Death by Tsuna Nobori.
Well that ends it. 100 challengers went to tackle the course, and all failed. More will come back, and hopefully clear.

#7: Yamamoto Shingo. He's the pepped gas jockey that cleared with 29 seconds left in Stage 1. Now he's gonna take on the Second Stage. Through the Spider Walk, Ugokukabe, and the Spider Climb. He's down the firemans pole and he clears. Now he's the first to take on the Goren Hammer, and Yes... WHAT?! No! He's down, how could he be so wreckless. Yamamoto Shingo. Death by Goren Hammer.

#94: Iketani Yukio. The gymnast, who raced through Stage 1. He's going and through the Spider Walk, now across the Goren Hammer, and Ahhhhhh. He tumbles. Yukio Iketani. Death by Goren Hammer.
#96: Hasegawa Ken. The Edo park ninja, who raced through Stage 1, and now he's taking on Stage 2. He's across the Spider Walk and the Goren Hammer, he has a shot at victory, and across the Gyaksuo Conveyor. Now he lifts one wall, and two, and he rolls under three, and clears. Hasegawa Ken. Stage 1 Clear!
#97: Omori Akira. Part of a comedy duo with Koala, as he's being a spas at Omori. He's across the Spider Walk, and he races through the Goren Hammer easily. He's at the walls. One, Two, Three, and he clears and flails his hands easily, as he confidently walks into Stage 3. Omori Akira. Stage 2 Clear.

SASUKE 1 (1997) Part 3
Part 3 of the first ever SASUKE. We've seen so many clears that I've lost count.
#64: is Tada Tomohiro and he clears. Tada Tomohiro. Stage 1 Clear!
#72: Kung Fu Sensei Yo Takashi. He's good at Kung Fu. Did he train Tanaka Tomokazu in Karate? He must be the reason Tanaka made it as far as the Free Climbing. He's on and he's up the Taki Nobori with gusto and determination, he's across the Burasagari Maruta. Taki Kudari. Clear. Sosoritatsu Kabe. Yes! on his first try! He's across the Yureru Hashi in three easy steps. Down the Maruta Kudari, which I don't even consider an obstacle. Up the Free Climbing and Kabe Nobori and Yes!. Yo Takashi. Stage 1 Clear!
#78: Sugimoto Keiiti. Stage 1 Clear!
#85: Minagawa Tomoki is here and Death by Burasagari Maruta.
#88: A surfer. He'll have good balance. He starts... uhhh dude time to start, TIME TO START!!! Okay he's starting and he's really making up for that late start as he's already at the Taki Kudari. Yes with a slide! Up the Sosoritatsu Kabe, and he takes three easy steps across the Yureru Hashi and he's up the Free Clmibing and Kabe Nobori and he clears. Inoue Kiyomi. Stage 1 clear!
#89: A champion of Geinojin (Celebrity) Sportsman No. 1 Kane Kosugi. Up the Taki Nobori calmly, and WTF he straddled the Burasagari Maruta briefly, down the Taki Kudari and up the Sosoritatsu Kabe. Across the Yureru Hashi and up the Free Climbing and Kabe Nobori, up and Whoa, nice save Kane and he clears with 2 seconds. Kane Kosugi. Stage 1 Clear!
#90: The 1997 Giant Slalom Champion Sato Hisaya. He's fast, and over the Taki Nobori and across the Burasagari Maruta, down the Taki Kudari easily, and up the Sosoritatsu Kabe with no flaws what so ever and now he's at the Yureru Hashi, and he just crossed it in three easy steps like everyone else. He's up the Free Climbing and Kabe Nobori, and he's clear with a blistering 29 seconds. Sato Hisaya. Stage 1 Clear!
#91: is Koyama Takashi an Office Worker. Doh! He timed out on top. Koyama Takashi. Death by Kabe Nobori.
#92: Oooh the Quick Muscle National Runner-Up. Propane Tank Delivery Driver Yamada Katsumi. He's ready, and he's up the Taki Nobori easy, and across the Burasagari Maruta. Down the devious Taki Kudari that has killed everybody almost. He's up the Sosoritatsu Kabe. Across the Yureru Hashi and down the Maruta Kudari. Up the Free Climbing and Kabe Nobori, and he clears with 5 seconds. Yamada Katsumi. Stage 1 Clear!
#93: Kokubu Ken fails. Death by Yureru Hashi.
#94: is Iketani Yukio. A gymnast who won silver in Barcelona. Good for him. I wonder who got gold. Oh boy, he's up the Taki Nobori, and across the Burasagari Maruta, and he jumps down the Maruta Kudari from the top, whoa he's got 51 seconds left and he's already at the Sosoritatsu Kabe. Yay! He's across the Yureru Hashi and with 40 seconds left. Ouch a bit of a stumble, but he's up and clear with nearly 30 seconds left. Not quite enough to beat Hidekazu Miyagi, but good. Yukio Iketani. Stage 1 Clear!
#95: A gym instructor, wow. Aww he time out. Death by Kabe Nobori.
#96: is Edo theme park ninja Hasegawa Ken. Stage 1 Clear!
#97: Omori Akira the comedian. Dancing fast, and he's racing and already past the Taki Nobori and the Burasagari Maruta easily. Down the Taki Kudari, and the Sosoritatsu Kabe sports no problem, he's fast already at the Yureru Hashi. Down the Maruta Kudari, and up the Free Climbing, and Kabe Nobori. Clear. Omori Akira. Stage 1 Clear!

#99: Fukada Hazime. Death by Taki Kudari.

#89: A champion of Geinojin (Celebrity) Sportsman No. 1 Kane Kosugi. Up the Taki Nobori calmly, and WTF he straddled the Burasagari Maruta briefly, down the Taki Kudari and up the Sosoritatsu Kabe. Across the Yureru Hashi and up the Free Climbing and Kabe Nobori, up and Whoa, nice save Kane and he clears with 2 seconds. Kane Kosugi. Stage 1 Clear!
#90: The 1997 Giant Slalom Champion Sato Hisaya. He's fast, and over the Taki Nobori and across the Burasagari Maruta, down the Taki Kudari easily, and up the Sosoritatsu Kabe with no flaws what so ever and now he's at the Yureru Hashi, and he just crossed it in three easy steps like everyone else. He's up the Free Climbing and Kabe Nobori, and he's clear with a blistering 29 seconds. Sato Hisaya. Stage 1 Clear!

He's across the Yureru Hashi and with 40 seconds left. Ouch a bit of a stumble, but he's up and clear with nearly 30 seconds left. Not quite enough to beat Hidekazu Miyagi, but good. Yukio Iketani. #1: Our very first contestant is Tanaka Tomokazu. A black belt in karate, he should be fine on the jumping obstacles. Taki Nobori is cleared with flurrish and style. He's across the Burasagari Maruta by monkeying across the bottom. Taki Kudari is cleared, uhh with a slide, cool. He on the Sosoritatsu Kabe and NO! he missed it bad, but he runs a second time and clears, only 25 seconds left. Yes! Yureru Hashi is clear by bunny hopping and clears, but the warning bell is being a spas, and down the Maruta Kudari and clears. He's onto the Free Climbing and he falls and times out. This shows how tough SASUKE is even for a karata expert. Aggghh. Tanaka Tomokazu. Death by Free Climbing. Not bad for a first try though :)
#2: We have football player Yano Shinichi. Hopefully by seeing Tanaka he will know what to expect. Up the Taki Nobori and he's cleared. He runs across the Burasagari Maruta. Slides down the Maruta Kudari and clears. Sosoritatsu Kabe... YES! on his first try. Yureru Hashi... takes three steps and clears, with at least 20 seconds left, he should be okay. #7: Gas Station Manager Yamamoto Shingo of Tokyo. He looks pepped up. It's kinda weird, I mean who gets pepped this quick? Anyhow he starts and wow he's rushing, and through the first three obstacles already, man this dude is something else. Certainly not slow, man he's already at the Free Climbing and with so much time left! He must be really pepped up, and he finishes with 29.0 seconds! Really pepped, he was so damn fast. Yamamoto Shingo. Stage 1 Clear!
